We finally have a date for when those not wanting to pay the  Premier Access fee can watch ‘Black Widow,’ at no extra cost, on Disney+.

‘Black Widow’ will be released in theaters and to those willing to pay the $29.99 Disney Plus Premier Access fee on July 9, 2021.

Disney+ subscribers wanting to wait until they can watch it without going to the theaters or paying the upcharge will be able to do so about three months later on October 9, 2021. At that point subscribers will be able to view the film at no extra cost.

‘Black Widow’ is a film that has seen a lot of ups and downs. It’s been highly anticipated and long overdue. The sole female Avenger from the original team is finally getting a movie, but after they killed her in “Avengers: Endgame.”

Many are waiting to see this film. It has been rescheduled numerous times due to the pandemic and Disney waiting for theaters to go mostly back to normal.  I do think we might see some large numbers for Disney and Marvel on this one.

Lately some of their other “Disney+ Premier Access” / Theatrical releases haven’t performed as well as they thought. For example “Cruella,” but this film has the buzz, demand, and character that people have been waiting for.

It was just announced on June 11 that tickets for ‘Black Widow’ were on sale via Fandango. With that announcement came a new teaser:

You can get your tickets for the film now, or if you are a Disney+ subscriber and prefer to watch from home, you will be able to do so with Premier Access through the streaming service at $29.99.  Preorder is available now.
