Walt Disney World Welcomes Back Cultural Representatives

Have you been missing the special interactions at EPCOT’s World Show Case with people from around the world?  Good news, the first participants in Disney’s renewed Cultural Representative program have arrived in Orlando!

If you are not familiar with the program, EPCOT has had cultural representatives for decades. These Cast Members come from the countries represented in the World Showcase and work at the respective pavilions. This gives guests a chance to learn about other countries directly from the citizens themselves. Plus it gives the participants experience in working in America and for the Walt Disney Company.

When the COVID Pandemic hit the program was suspended, but now it’s renewed and the participants are arriving.

On Instagram the @wdw.ambassador account posted the following:

Today we welcomed the first group of Cultural Representatives to return to Walt Disney World! ✨ This means all Disney Programs at Walt Disney World are officially back! A warm welcome awaited Disney Programs participants as they checked in at Flamingo Crossings Village to start their journey as Cast Members. We are so excited to have you here and can’t wait to welcome back even more participants from around the world in the coming weeks! 🌏 #DisneyPrograms #DisneyCastLife

I’m so happy to see the program back! It makes the EPCOT experience so much better to have them here!

To these new cast members we say “Welcome!”
