Walt Disney World has made an adjustment to their mask policy at restaurants in their resort.
Previously you could remove your mask when you were stated or stationary. Now you must leave it on when you are not eating, even if you are sitting with your party.
“Face coverings for each Guest age 2 and up, which must be worn in all public areas and can only be removed while actively eating or drinking. Face coverings must be worn while standing, waiting or sitting in dining locations.”
I wonder if this is being put in place because the new strain of COVID-19 is in area or is this change to allow more guests to restaurant locations?
Who knows, but be aware that Disney has added the change to their Dining page on the website.
Irony is the photo on the dining page is showing a social distanced experience where everyone is sitting and not wearing masks.
