Walt Disney World Is Raising Prices on Loungefly Bags and some Minnie Ear Headbands

If you thought Disney was going to stop pricing things up after Genie+ and holiday after hours events, think again. Now WDWNT has caught that they are raising more prices on merchandise at the parks.

Previously we noticed that the spirit jerseys went up and are now a whopping $74.99 each. The nuiMOs went up from $17.99 to $19.99 and the new princess ones were $21.99.  But today it seems WDWNT caught several other items that have received price increases.

They are reporting that some Loungefly items, like the Miss Piggy mini-backpack have gone up. The Miss Piggy backpack is up to $95 when they were $80.  $95!

Online they are still showing up at the normal $70-$80 range, with a couple being higher. So I can’t speak to that comparison much. I did look it up and they were $80 previously. I’m not sure how long ago it was changed.

They also caught some other items with increases. The brand new Loungefly popcorn bucket backpack has increased $5 just since it was released about a week ago!

At least some Minnie Mouse Ear Headbands are showing as $39.99 now. Prices were $29.99 for the same ones just last month.  Online most ears are still at $29.99 so if one you want is available you might want to grab them.

I did notice the new Haunted Mansion ears were $34.99 and the new Minnie Mouse polka-dot ones are $44.99. So the prices were already creeping up.

They also caught a $5 increase in the price of scream canister too.

You can see images and find out what they caught if you visit their article. They are great about catching that stuff. It’s just getting more and more expensive.

Food prices and merchandise prices keep creeping up higher and higher.

What will go up next?
