Yesterday Disneyland’s union sent a letter to the Vice President of Labor Relations and today Walt Disney World’s Service Trades Council Union has just sent a letter to the director of labor relations.

They are seeing a formal announcement from the company on the closure dates and to secure pay and benefits for the employees through April 30th.

A copy of the letter was on BlogMickey.com:

Disney has kept quiet about it’s plans for workers and the parks as of late. Right now Orange county and Osceola county in Florida, have “Stay-at-home” orders in place. When Disney refused to make a statement, authorities at Orange County announced that Walt Disney World would remain closed until April 9th in conjunction with the order.

At this point Disney is going to need to start clarifying some things for both Cast Members and customers.

We will keep you posted.
