The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) recently added an expansion of the Emmy Awards competition with its inaugural presentation of the Children & Family Emmy Awards. A expansion like this one has not been seen since 1979. The Academy has seen a 23% increase in related children programming in the past two years. Now, the Children & Family Emmy Awards is the largest NATAS competition with approximately 3000 entries.
Jojo Siwa and Jack McBrayer served as the hosts for the first presentation of the Children & Family Emmy Awards on December 11th.
