Vera Bradley to Release Harry Potter Collection

Move over Mickey, Harry Potter designs are coming to Vera Bradley.

Anyone who reads my stuff, be it on this blog or the other blog I used to write on, you know I am a huge fan of thing like Vera Bradley bags.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, Vera Bradley announced this new collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products.

“Vera Bradley’s design team will collaborate with WBCP to create a Vera Bradley + Harry Potter back-to-campus and dorm line featuring bags, accessories, stationery, drinkware, tech products, bath and bedding, which will launch in June 2020.  A Vera Bradley + Harry Potter “cozy” capsule featuring a fleece robe, slippers, and a sheared throw blanket will launch in November 2020, just in time for holiday gifting.”

Vera Bradley’s CEO, Rob Wallstrom, talked about the new partnership:

“We are thrilled to partner with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create a magical, fun collection that will appeal to all generations.  We know that many of our Vera Bradley fans are also Wizarding World devotees who will love these amazing products!  Additionally, we appreciate and support the messages of diversity, acceptance, hope, and equality that are woven throughout the Books and wider Wizarding World, as these closely align with Vera Bradley’s values.”

Oh my gosh, heck yeah!

These new Vera Bradley/Harry Potter items will be available in Vera Bradley full line stores, select retailers and verabradley.com starting in June 2020.

I love Vera Bradley bags because they are a comfortable weight to carry around, some bags from other brands can be quite heavy. I can wash it. The price points are reasonable and I love the colors and designs. As an art teacher I adore Vera designs, so I am super excited about Harry Potter ones. Heaven knows I have a closet full of Disney ones.  (Yeah, these, Alex and Ani bracelets, and spirit jerseys are my weaknesses.)

Stay tuned and when we get more information I will share it here on PNP.  I’m thinking of all the possibilities for designs. Houses? Sorting Hats? Quidditch? Deathly Hallows?  Oh! The Marauder’s Map?! So many options!

What do you think? Comment and let us know!
