Thanksgiving Day can be an incredible experience at Universal Orlando. Yet, it can also be a stressful experience. One of the ways the anxiety can be reduced is letting Universal Orlando prepare your Thanksgiving Day meal. Universal Orlando will be happy to let you pay for this service. In addition, they will provide a quality experience for your currency. At the higher-level Universal/Loews resort hotels, there are some fabulous dining options for Thanksgiving Day (USA) which is November 25th, 2021.

However, unlike the value and value plus resort hotels Thanksgiving offerings, the price point will be much higher. You can clearly expect far higher quality and variety of food options at the higher-level on-site hotels. Having enjoyed upscale meals at these resort hotels in the past, you will not be disappointed if your budget will allow these more expensive dining options.

Now, if you are someone who wants a high-quality breakfast on Thanksgiving Day morning, Universal Orlando has you covered. Both Amatista Cookhouse, at Sapphire Falls, and Jake’s American Bar at Royal Pacific Resort will offer breakfast buffets from 7am-11am. The price is $25/adult, $15 for children aged 3-9 with children under age 3 being free.  These buffets appear similar to the ones that normally happen at these resort hotels. However, we should expect some special Thanksgiving Day features to be added to these breakfast buffets. Both options will offer all you care to drink mimosas (or similar drinks) for an additional $15.

Hard Rock Hotel, in their Avalon Ballroom, will offer a breakfast buffet for $27/$16 pricing. However, this buffet is not offering an unlimited alcoholic beverage options like previous mentioned options. Portofino Bay Resort is not offering a special breakfast buffet at all that day.

For those of you not interested in having a big breakfast on Thanksgiving Day, Universal Orlando’s top level resort hotels have options. The high-quality fine dining Thanksgiving meal options come in five different varieties. Before listing these, prepare yourself for some sticker shock. For people who have done these seasonal meals in the past, they communicate to me that it is worth the money. However, please do not schedule one of these dining options if your budget cannot handle it.

The first level of options of these incredible dining celebrations are the Thanksgiving Day buffets at Amatista Cookhouse at Sapphire Falls and Islands Dining Room at Royal Pacific Resort.

The cost is $62/adults and $30 for children. These buffets will be offered from 11am-9pm. Both buffets will offer all you care to drink mimosas (or similar beverages) for an additional $15. The Islands Dining Room menu may be viewed at this link. The Amatista Cookhouse menu may be found here.

Another amazing option to consider is the Thanksgiving buffet at The Kitchen at Hard Rock Hotel.

When researching Thanksgiving Day options, I found it interesting not to see The Kitchen serving breakfast. Their everyday breakfast options shine for breakfast lovers. Maybe the reason The Kitchen is not being used for breakfast is to prepare for this Thanksgiving Day spread. This buffet will run from 11am-9pm. The cost will be $75/adult and $29 for children ages 3-9. The specific menu is located at this link. Please note this is at The Kitchen at the Hard Rock Hotel. This is not the Thanksgiving Day offerings at the Hard Rock Café in CityWalk.

The final options for Thanksgiving Day premium dining are both at Portofino Bay Resort.

Two restaurants there are offering Thanksgiving Day themed meals at this resort hotel. One option is Thanksgiving meal at Mama Della’s Ristorante. They will serve a special traditional Thanksgiving meal from 5:30pm-10pm. They will also serve the regular menu for those who do not want turkey. The cost of the Thanksgiving meal will be $65/adult and $20/children. Universal Orlando has also pointed out that opera singers and wandering musicians will be a part of the entertainment for this meal.

The final option for Thanksgiving Day meal at Universal Orlando Resort hotels might be the best. Portofino is offering a Thanksgiving Day buffet in Trattoria del Porto from 11am-9pm. This upscale buffet will cost $75.adults and $25/children. There will be live music and face painters as entertainment with this offering. The exact menu for this buffet can be found at this link.

Universal Orlando is encouraging reservations for these meals. Thanksgiving week predictions promise crowds this year so reservations should be considered. If you want to make reservations, then you have several options. You may use opentable.com. Alternatively, you can also call the dining reservation line at 407-503-DINE (3463). You may also visit or call the concierge at 407-503-1200.  Bon appetite!
