It seems things got interesting last Saturday night at Universal Orlando. According to Fox 35, Orlando police were called into Universal Orlando’s CityWalk after reports of several juveniles fighting.
The Orlando police spokesperson said that when police arrived they evacuated the area out of “an abundance of caution.”

The Orlando police had the scene clear and tweeted about it at 1:12 AM.
The police said that there were no shots fired and that there were no injuries reported but people that were there said the following:
I was there laying in the grass and tons of people started running everywhere idk if it was a gun because there was fireworks around but yes lots of people said they heard guns near us

We were steps away from the incident but the cops didn’t say sh*t so everyone was scared. I passed like 10, 15 pairs of sandals and flip flops that people had ditched to go full sprint in the panic.

Another video from @DisneyDirect2U shows people panicking in the parking garage. If they didn’t know what was going on it’s easy to understand why.

There was also a post about getting your belongings that you may have lost in the chaos.
If you lost any belongings last night go to Universal Guest Services to see if they have them.

People are getting concerned because this is starting to become a pattern of behavior. From fights at Walt Disney World to Knotts Berry Farm having to put in chaperone rules.
Police might have been a bit overly cautious here because there apparently was a shooting scare at the Florida Mall in Orlando earlier that day. I appreciate that they aren’t taking any chances, and hopefully no one did get injured in the mad rush from the CityWalk area.
