So, you know, I spoke with my religious professional colleagues about committing one of the seven deadly sins during my trip to Disney Springs. Also, my twitter handle should give you a clue about my experience as a religious professional. Now, if you are unaware, I ate six Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies in one day. I realize some of you feel great jealousy knowing this. While others feel incredible concern for my long-term health.

Today, I will describe the Triple Chocolate Cookie. Like all Gideon’s Bakehouse cookies, they cost $6 each. According to Gideon’s Bakehouse, this triple chocolate cookie contains 5 different types of chocolate. Anyway, I was told there would be no math. The key chocolate varieties involve Callebaut and Ghirardelli style chocolate. Also, Gideon’s Bakehouse states to make the cookie itself “more velvety” (their words, not mine) they pour chocolate ganache directly into the cookie dough as they mix it.

Obviously, this cookie offers so much for the chocolate fan in your life. I enjoyed this cookie. Even with all the sugar I consumed on this day, I felt overwhelmed with the powerful chocolate flavor of this cookie. In my experience, the texture of the cookie felt more like cookie dough in feel and taste. Gideon’s Bakehouse boasts about offering very soft cookies. Clearly, this cookie meets that standard of softness. In fact, I took it back to my hotel room and cut it with a plastic knife. I have heard people say they prefer “harder” style cookies. If you are one of those people, this cookie would not be your thing.

The appearance of this cookie after you take it out of the wrapping conveys probably chocolate overload. Clearly, chocolate radiates from this cookie. The weakest portion of this cookie seems to be the actual chocolate chips on top. In fact, you must give Gideon’s credit for one thing. They love chips on top of their delicious cookies.

Personally, this cookie ranked lower on my list. However, I prefer other flavors over this potential chocolate overload. As you can guess, every chocolate fan should run to Gideon’s for this cookie at Disney Springs. In fact, you should calmly drive to the East End location for a far shorter queue and the ability to order ahead. Either way, eat like you mean it!
