Top Three Things You Should Be Eating at Universal Orlando This Week (May 15th, 2022)

I have returned to real life serving at my employment with hopefully eternal significance after my latest trip to Universal Orlando. Like most theme park fans, I have already scheduled another trip to Orlando for this year. I scheduled two with one being during Halloween Horror Nights to cover the food during that event. Until those trips, there exist many great food options you should be enjoying if visiting Universal Orlando this week. In fact, these suggestions apply for most of next week also.

Our first stop involves a trip to the Croissant Moon Bakery in Islands of Adventure. Since May 15th was declared National Chocolate Chip Day, a cookie with chocolate chips serves as a good choice. For $3.29 before discounts, guests may purchase a cookie here. I have been informed by a qualified park rush source that these cookies can be breakfast before you ride the Velocicoaster. Whatever reason you select to get one of these cookies, your bank account will not be damaged too much. Now if you want bigger more extravagant chocolate chip cookies, those can be found also at Universal Orlando.

Next, we should venture out to CityWalk to Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen. During my most recent trip, I spent much time at Toothsome. Since May 21st gets honor of being National Strawberries and Cream Day, Toothsome has a good choice for you. Now, you will need to be an annual passholder (or be with someone who is one) since this is an exclusive passholder menu item until May 26th. The Strawberries & Cream French Toast costs $12.95.

Everyone who has ordered it, so far, has raved about it. This French toast comes stuffed with citrus agave flavored mascarpone cheese. After that, it gets topped with fresh chocolate covered strawberries, whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, and a strawberry sauce. If that sounds appealing to you, hurry because it is only around for a few more days.

Finally, National Vegetarian Awareness Week runs this week. Universal Orlando shows full awareness of vegetarians. The Today Café, in Universal Studios Florida, unveiled on April 25th, 2022, a new vegetarian menu item. The Watermelon, Feta, and Basil Flatbread which costs $14.99.

This cauliflower pizza crust comes topped with watermelon, feta, roasted corn, basil, tomato aioli, balsamic glaze, arugula, and lemon olive oil vinaigrette. For a full review, click here. Let me just say, this strange combination of flavors and texture might work for your taste buds.

Hopefully you get a chance to visit Universal Orlando soon. Then, you can enjoy these food items. Thanks for reading. I look forward to bringing you another “Top 3” next week. As always, eat like you mean it!
