Top Three Things You Should Be Eating at Universal Orlando This Week (June 26th, 2022)

This week for “Top Three” suggestions involves spending a great deal of time in the summer Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida.  If you are a fan of E.T., Back to the Future, and Jaws, you could stay in the Tribute Store for hours. With the exception of popcorn treats, this store offers lots of sugar-filled treats. This week’s suggestions involve sugar followed by more sugar.  Let us get our sweet tooth ready.

All three suggestions reside in the fourth and final room of the store. However, we will start by getting the E.T. Moon Jumbo Macaron. Universal does a great job with macarons. Of course, this one continues that pattern. The white chocolate flavor works well with this creation. A blueberry puree adds just the right amount of additional flavor to make this macaron shine. These cost $5.00 before any discounts.

Next, we will get a sweet but scary sounding treat based on the Jaws movie. For $8, we can buy the Jaws Shark Tooth Chocolate Shot. If you can get over idea of a “shark tooth” being on top your sugary goodness, then you will love this. The mixture of different chocolate flavors in this will be better than being bitten by a shark.

Finally, we get two different Back to the Future Hoverboard Whoopie Pies. These whoopie pies cost $5 each. The two flavor options are fruit punch and lemonade. They come with two soft “pies” surrounding colorful icing within. The “Nerds” candy on outside added a nice touch of sour to go with sweet. Yes, these whoopie pies provide a sugar kick but the sweetness should not overwhelm you.

If you are a fan of the classic Universal movies, this week’s suggestions will make you smile. Since we have only scratched the surface of the Tribute Store treats, expect more in the future.

As always, eat like you mean it!
