For many, we face constant reminders of number of holiday shopping days remaining. As well, the holiday food season at Universal Orlando continues. This week’s top three involves more holiday food items. As seen in previous Top Three articles, you will need a lot of time to enjoy all the holiday treats at Universal Orlando this year.
First, Universal Orlando offers an adorable holiday treat. Three holiday macarons can be found at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and the Tribute Store. These cute macarons reside in three styles, Toasted Marshmallow Snowman, Mint Snowflake, and Sugar Cookie Wreath. The macarons possess consistent texture. In addition, they taste good and light.
Second this week, Universal Orlando converted their cheesecake style pops into an animal shape. The Nutella Cheesecake Reindeer Pop costs $5.85. These darling reindeer pops appear in bakery cases across Universal Orlando. For comparison, the menu description reads a cheesecake pop with Nutella and garnished with candied hazelnuts. Nutella fans will enjoy the thin shell and hazelnut pieces. As well, the cheesecake portion fulfills its function as delicious and creamy. If you order this, please use caution since product will fall off the stick as you enjoy it.
Third, my last suggestion for this week involves chocolate and pistachio. Similar to other holiday treats, this resides in the Tribute Store and several Universal Orlando bakery cases. Also, the Chocolate Pistachio Trifle Cake bring sweetness with a less common alternative of pistachio. Recently, one of my friends with culinary skills enjoyed this immensely. Yes, she claimed the pistachio flavor could have been more intense though. Overall, she stated this was a solid dessert option. Universal Orlando’s creativity with trifle cakes has grown exponentially in last year.
May you enjoy USA school winter break time. So, if you visit Universal Orlando, these holiday treats should brighten your day.
