Tomorrowland Tron Coaster Construction Update

0

Here’s a construction update on the status of the Tron Coaster at Tomorrowland in the Walt Disney World Resort.

Support beams and track are going up all over the area in preparation for the brand new coaster opening in the Magic Kingdom. They are moving quickly on the track!

Here’s a look at it from @Bioreconstruct on Twitter Definitely give them a follow! They are a great resource! (Featured image credit to @Bioreconstruct as well.)

A great place to get a good look at the construction is on the People Mover (TTA) in Tomorrowland. It takes you right past it!

This new attraction is based on the Tron Lightcycle Power Run at Shanghai Disney, but they aren’t calling it by that name but a “Tron attraction” based on it. It will be interesting to see if this ends up being different or if it gets another name. \

What we do know is that it’s scheduled to open before the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World in 2021.

I am so excited about this attraction! How about you?
