General Kenobi, clad in battle-worn Republic armor, is prepared to take on any threats to freedom during the Clone Wars. This 1/7th scale statue of the legendary Jedi master is available exclusively at the Big Bad Toy Store.

Obi-Wan can be yours if you happen to have $199.99 and the discipline to wait until the 2nd quarter of 2022. OK, it’s not that long of a wait. Probably six months tops.

Though this is based on Kenobi’s appearance during the Clone Wars TV series, the face is modeled less after the animated version and more like the character’s real-life actor Ewan McGregor. That always throws me off because I’ve gotten so used to that very pointy beard from the animated series.

From Star Wars: The Clone Wars comes a new statue of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi! He is featured on a translucent base with his lightsaber ignited and ready for battle.

I’m hoping Old Ben’s upcoming Disney+ series shows us flashbacks from the Clone Wars, rather than trying to force in battles with Darth Vader. But, we all know Disney cares less about storytelling and more about pushing merchandise. So, get ready for lots of Obi-Wan VS Vader stuff flooding the market soon.

Regardless of how Disney bungles George Lucas’s original rivalry arc, Star Wars merchandise focusing on the better part of the franchise’s history is still being produced.

There are not a lot of bells and whistles with this statue. It is pretty basic. Here’s what you get:

  • 1/7 Scale
  • Made of resin
  • From Star Wars: The Clone Wars
  • Highly detailed
  • Base made of translucent material

What do you think about mixing the live-action and animated styles with this statue and other Clone Wars-inspired collectibles that have come out recently? Let us know in the comments section.
