The Wonderful World of Animation and Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage to Return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios Next Month

Disney has announced that both the Wonderful World of Animation nighttime show and the popular Beauty and the Beast–Live on Stage show will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios next month.

The projection mapping show, Wonderful World of Animation will return on August 1. Once again guests can watch the Chinese Theater be transformed into a “magical journey through more than 90 years of Disney animation.

Watch in wonder as the façade of the Chinese Theatre is magically transformed—displaying this stirring tribute to animation. Behold spectacular sequences celebrating themes like magic, family, adventure, romance and friendship. Each theme is brought to life through unforgettable moments from beloved films—like Sleeping Beauty, The Incredibles, Coco and many more.

Of course, since we can never lose sight of the fact that it was all started with a mouse, the show fittingly begins and ends with the one-and-only Mickey.”

Later in the month, on August 15, the popular Beauty and the Beast- Live on Stage show will be returning to the Theater of the Stars on Sunset Boulevard.

The heartwarming tale of Belle and the Beast swirls to life in this lush stage performance. With colorful costumes, gorgeous scenery and the songs you’ve come to love, this sumptuous show will sweep you away—all over again!

Slowly it’s all returning to what was once normal at Walt Disney World.

We still don’t have any news on Fantasmic, but we will keep watching.
