The Star Wars Mission Fleet Series Gets A Cool Razor Crest Set

The Mission Fleet line of Star Wars toys is more for younger kids, featuring simplified characters and vehicles made for playtime rather than collecting dust on a shelf. However, the newest addition to the series, The Mandalorian‘s Razor Crest, is an impressively detailed vehicle that may end up in many collectors’ homes.

The Razor Crest measures roughly 11.5″ x 15″ x 3″ while the characters usually are 2.5″ tall. Grogu, of course, is a little smaller than that. He is included in this set along with Mando. The detail on this thing is pretty cool. Like with the rest of the Mission Fleet toys, these are budget-conscious as well. The set is priced at $41.99.

Being an ’80s kid, I’m used to all our detail being mainly done with stickers on Star Wars toys. Usually, the vehicles tended to not be entirely accurate to their on-screen counterparts, too.

Blast off into a dangerous galaxy with the Mandalorian and The Child (Grogu), affectionately referred to by fans as “Baby Yoda,” aboard his iconic ship, the Razor Crest! Imagine action-packed battles in the outer reaches with the Star Wars Mission Fleet Razor Crest Outer Rim Run figure and vehicle set. Featuring 3 projectile launchers, an opening cockpit that fits 2 figures, a removable top cover, interior play area, opening back hatch, weapons locker, 6 blaster accessories, and jetpack accessory, the kid-friendly Razor Crest figure and vehicle set makes a great introduction to the Galaxy of Star Wars for kids ages 4 and up!

The Razor Crest is currently available at Target for shipping. That was surprising since most of the toys I cover are typically sold out the day they’re announced. Then again, the Mission Fleet toys generally are the only place you can find a Cara Dune figure now. This toyline doesn’t have the same power at attracting overzealous collectors, I guess.

What are your thoughts on this Razor Crest toy? Let us know in the comments.
