Din Djarin finally takes off his mask for this upcoming 1/6th scale Hot Toys release. We saw this while reading Figures.com. This is the second version of The Mandalorian, but there are a few upgrades here. First, Mando’s armor is now chrome-plated, giving it a more realistic look.
As to be expected, the artistry that went into capturing Pedro Pascal’s face is exquisite. If you’ve never owned a Hoy Toys figure before, let me attest to their quality. These things are worth every penny.
Hot Toys will be producing two versions of this figure, a standard release and a deluxe. The deluxe comes with some cool accessories:
- (1) battle damaged Swoop Bike handle
- (1) Boba Fett helmet with inner details and weathering effects
- (1) Boba Fett jetpack with weathering effects
- (2) wrapped baggage (equipped with magnetic function)
- (1) knit bag for helmet
- (2) sets of straps for wrapped baggage
The standard edition of The Mandalorian comes with all of the following:
- (1) Darksaber hilt with blade
- (1) Beskar spear
- (1) blaster rifle with attachable scope
- (1) blaster pistol
- (1) dagger
- (1) wired grappling hook
- One (1) satchel bag
- One (1) detonator
- One (1) thermal detonator (attachable to belt)
- One (1) magnetically attachable silver jetpack
- One (1) whistling birds firing effects (attachable to left gauntlet)
- (1) flamethrower effect accessory
- Specially designed figure stand with Star Wars logo and character nameplate
Get ready for a wait. These two versions of Mando won’t hit until late 2022, early 2023.
Sadly the same has to be said for the Swoop Bike, which Hot Toy is also making in the 1/6th scale. However, I’m a bit more excited for this release because it comes with a cute Grogu.
Yeah, that little guy looks like he’s really enjoying the ride. Unfortunately, pricing for the swoop and Mando are not available yet. Look for these to run in the $200-$500 range, though.
