SeaWorld Orlando is opening their newest roller coaster, The Ice Breaker, on February 18, 2022 as announced via email to Passholders.

The newest addition to SeaWorld Orlando, is homed near the Wild Artic attraction. It promises to be the “steepest beyond-vertical drop in Florida” that also launches forward and backward! It comes with a 93 feet tall spike with a 100 degree angle. The description on SeaWorld’s website also adds that the coaster features a near vertical top hat maneuver along with other twists and turns!

The minimum height requirement for the Ice Breaker is 48 inches. This is lower than all the other coasters at SeaWorld Orlando with their minimum height requirement being 54 inches.

Passholders are able to experience the attraction early as an added perk to their pass. The email added the following dates:

Jan. 30 – 31: Platinum Pass Members

Feb. 1 – 6: Platinum and Gold Pass Members

Feb. 7 – 13: Platinum, Gold, and Silver Pass Members

Feb. 14 – 15: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze Pass Members plus Fun Card holders

With the addition of the Ice Breaker, SeaWorld Orlando is packing in the thrill rides for its guests. It will join coasters: Kraken, Manta, and Mako along water thrill rides: Journey to Atlantis and Infinity Falls.

SeaWorld Orlando is offering a Quick Queue that will include a one-time priority pass to the Ice Breaker along with reserved show seating and unlimited front-of-the-line access to their popular attractions.

They are offering this for $29.99 additional stop of the price of your admission ticket. To compare, the price of a regular Quick Queue is $14.99 per day without the addition of the Ice Breaker. Guests can also purchase Quick Queue for the entire year for the price of $299.99, and as of now their website does not list Ice Breaker as an attraction available on this upgrade option. All of these options can be purchased on the SeaWorld Orlando website.
