Some people got to see ‘The Eternals’ already with the premiere and early screenings and apparently there is a post credit scene that has people freaking out.  Before we get into that I want to mention that some sites are reporting that the film is very different from the rest of the MCU and while that may be a good thing to critics, I am still not convinced that this one is going to be the huge success they are hoping for.

But I digress. Back to the point.

The movie does have a post credit scene and if you were following rumors it won’t surprise you too much.

I am NOT going to talk about anything else regarding spoilers EXCEPT the post-credit scene because I think it’s wrong to spoil a whole movie for people. End credits, well that one is more of a teaser moving forward anyways. I will not post anything spoilery at all till the END of the article.

Twitter however is not amused that the reveal has been spoiled. They are always spoiled, and a lot of outlets and people will spoil it the day it releases officially anyways. If you don’t want to know don’t read the articles or stay off social media for the next two-three weeks.

Before that here are some “Spoiler free” reactions from Twitter. I won’t post the actual spoiler till the very end.

Everybody that went to The Eternals premiere and tweeted out a spoiler is in the wrong. If they work for a website that site shouldn’t be invited to the next premiere.

(Don’t necessarily disagree, however it releases in a couple of weeks. But if it’s okay to spoil things the day something releases, I don’t see how it’s much different to talk about a post credit scene a couple weeks before it releases. It spoils nothing for that film and it is mean to be a teaser moving forward.)

Only thing I don’t want spoiled about Eternals is the end credit scenes.

Okay. So now I will tell you, but only if you want to know.

If you don’t want to know. Don’t ready any further. I’m even going to post some basic Eternals images first so you have plenty of time to not see it.

Okay. Here is the big spoiler that everyone is losing it about. Honestly, I don’t get why it’s such a big deal other than the person having a lot of fans.

Harry Stiles is confirmed as playing Thanos’ brother Eros, also known as Starfox.

In the comics the character was known for being a bit of a playboy and even got accused of sexual assault.  I doubt Disney will go there, so I’m not sure how they will handle the character.  However, in mythology he is the God of love, physical desire, attraction, and a certain activity that stems from that, if you know what I mean.

I’m surprised they even brought the character in if I’m being honest.

This of course has made some fans very happy. Especially fans of the singer/actor, and some MCU fans are starting to gatekeep a bit indicating if they’re just there for the singer/actor then it’s a problem.

Other fans think it’s a cool addition to the MCU.

Some are not going to be happy given how the character is in mythology and the comics.

One thing is for sure, it’s going to be very interesting to see how Disney handles this one.
