‘The Book of Boba Fett’ Disney+ Show Announced in “The Mandalorian” Post Credit Scene

It appears we are finally getting confirmation of the long rumored Boba Fett show coming to Disney+.  It was announced in the post credit scene after the season finale of “The Mandalorian.”

If you don’t want spoilers for the scene you might want to stop reading.

In the scene it takes the viewers back to Jabba’s palace on Tatooine. Now Bib Fortuna is in charge. Fennec Shand enters and kills everyone except for Fortuna and his slave. The slave is freed and then Boba Fett comes in and kills Bib Fortuna and takes the throne with Fennec.

Then it cuts to “The Book of Boba Fett” and “Coming December 2021.”

Honestly, we knew it was coming. There has been a lot of talk about it in the Star Wars rumor mills lately. It sounds like it might be a spin-off from “The Mandalorian” like “Ashoka” and the “Rangers of the New Republic” will be. Which is fine, but considering “The Mandalorian” is reportedly what became of the “Star Wars Stories: Boba Fett” film, I think fans were hoping for his own thing.

Of course we don’t know much of anything other than that we are getting a Boba Fett show or movie on Disney+ in a year. Because Disney is putting pretty much everything into Disney+ at this point.
