Thanksgiving Day (USA) Offerings at Universal Orlando Resort Value and Value Plus Hotels

As a theme park fan, you decided to go to Universal Orlando for Thanksgiving Day. This can be a great time to visit. Yes, it will be a busy time to visit any Orlando area theme park. True, the tickets and hotel prices will be higher than normal. Still, you shall enjoy all the holiday seasonal events and festivities.

A common question I see in theme park social media settings is: Where can I eat a traditional Thanksgiving meal at Universal Orlando?

In response, I quickly encourage then to consider dining at one of the Universal Orlando/Loews resort hotels. Each hotel has Thanksgiving Day meals to enjoy. Even the lower cost, non-premier/preferred hotels have solid Thanksgiving Day meals to offer.

Both value level hotels, Dockside and Surfside are offering a Thanksgiving meal in their food court from 2-10pm on November 25th.

Though the menu is not officially listed, we should expect a traditional Thanksgiving style menu. The cost is listed as $15/adults, $9 children ages 3-9 (this is age range for children pricing across Universal), with children under age 3 being complimentary (at all resort hotels).

At the value plus hotels, Aventura and Cabana Bay Beach Resort, there will also be a Thanksgiving Day meal served.

At Urban Pantry food court in Aventura, there will be a Thanksgiving Day Menu Special. This will be served from noon to 10pm on November 25th. The cost is $19.99 for adults and $10.99 for children. In this case, we have a clue about exact items on menu. Both value plus hotels tend to have similar menu and pricing. The Bayliner Diner at Cabana Bay Beach Resort has same exact pricing as Urban Pantry.

Now at Cabana Bay Beach Resort, we have actual menu items already announced. They are turkey, stuffing, cranberry compote, broccoli, mashed potatoes, gravy, and a biscuit. However, at the Bayliner Diner at Cabana Bay, you can dine later since their Thanksgiving Day Menu Special is served from noon until 11pm. Though I suspect you can do same thing at Urban Pantry, you may add a piece of pecan or pumpkin pie for $3.50 at Bayliner Diner.

Cabana Bay also offers some Thanksgiving Day bonuses for guests. In a yearly tradition starting at 9am on November 25th, the Thanksgiving Day parades are shown on the big screens in the Bayliner Diner. Also, the Galaxy Bowl will open earlier than normal for Cabana Bay guests at 3pm for the family fun of trying to bowl a “turkey” on Thanksgiving Day. The cost for bowling is standard rate there.

If you are looking for time dining on Thanksgiving Day during your theme park vacation, these options might help. These resort hotels have some solid cost-effective opportunities to relax while having some turkey.
