Star Wars Star John Boyega Rumored To Have Gone To Marvel

John Boyega as Finn

John Boyega, who played Finn in Disney’s ‘Star Wars’ trilogy is now rumored to be involved with Marvel. Oscar Isaac went from ‘Star Wars’ Poe Dameron to Marvel’s ‘Moon Knight,’ so it’s completely possible that John Boyega has done the same.

What is the rumor?

The rumor comes from Giant Freakin Robot and hasn’t been confirmed so take it with a proverbial “grain of salt.” But it’s an interesting rumor given that Boyega had mentioned he would like to be in a Marvel movie.

If Boyega did film a Marvel part he allegedly did it in secrecy and Giant Freakin Robot’s source did not reveal those details. With all the Marvel projects coming out it could be a number of characters, but they feel that Nova would be the likely choice. It’s one of the characters in development and Boyega had expressed interest in the character in deleted tweets from several years ago.

The other characters they theorize about is Blue Marvel aka Adam Brashear, or perhaps something from ‘Black Panther 2.’ A character in ‘Black Panther 2’ would make a lot sense given the rumor says he already filmed this secret part and that movie is mostly done and coming out soon.

It could open the door to the character being in other Marvel movies/shows. Or he could have a part in another show coming out soon. Who knows?

At this point it’s all speculation, but I do like John Boyega and I would like to see him come to Marvel. I don’t think ‘Star Wars’ used his character in the best way possible and I would have loved to see more Finn, but that ship has sailed.

What do you think? Would you like to see John Boyega come to Marvel as well?
