The upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home is already getting people excited. Seeing the conclusion to the initial first trilogy of Tom Holland Spider-Man films as well as the possible return of past Spider-Man actors and classic villains is definitely making all the die hard fans shiver in anticipation. But of course this is the age of the internet, and possible spoilers are everywhere. So much so that a producer on the film recently commented on the issue.

SONY Producer Amy Pascal, known for overseeing the Spider-Man franchise for the past few years, as well as the 2016 Ghostbusters, had this to say about the “leaks”:

You know. Yes, we’ve been, we don’t want to spoil things for people, you know? That’s one of the problems with movies is that people know everything before they walk into the theater. So we’ve been trying to make sure people get the full theatrical experience when they go to the movie. And yeah, you try to never confirm anything in any movie, but this one is a big one.

SONY and Marvel have been adamant on not letting anything be spoiled for this film. Even denying the rumors about the presence of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, despite many fans believing otherwise. At this point if they don’t actually appear it may spell disaster for the film’s chances of breaking $1 Billion at the global box office.

Some insiders have suggested that SONY did originally want to include Maguire and Garfield in the marketing, but it was Marvel producer Keven Feige who suggested keeping it a surprise. Even if they don’t show it in the marketing everyone is going to spoil it online day one on if they are or are not in the film.

Hopefully the film will be worth the wait as tickets are already selling out and are being flipped online for outrageous prices.
