Special Disneyland Haunted Mansion 50th Events on Two Nights in August

Okay Haunted Mansion fans get ready for something truly special!

The original Disneyland Haunted Mansion opened on August 9, 1969, and now 50 years later guests can participate in a special ticketed opportunity to celebrate this special birthday!

For two night in August, August 7th/8th and 8th/9th, 999 guests will be able to have a special three hour after-hours event with exclusive merchandise and special treats in Disneyland!

Attend an under-the-hill soiree filled with chills, thrills and frightful fun. This summer, creepy crypt doors will creak as restless spirits join Guests of all ages in celebrating the Haunted Mansion’s 50th anniversary during two (2) separately ticketed, after-hours events at Disneyland Park. Unearth commemorative anniversary merchandise items, delight in themed food & beverage menu offerings, find your ‘soul’ with special entertainment, character encounters and photo ops and enjoy access to select west-side park attractions, plus a few supernatural surprises.–Disney

There are 2 Events!

Disneyland Hotel

The first event will start at 8am (August 7th or 8th depending on which you choose) at the Disneyland Hotel. Here guests will get special merchandise shopping and photo ops.
** Merchandise shopping will be by Random Selection Process**

Haunted Mansion Magic

Guest will line up outside the Disneyland gates beginning at 11:30 PM. Then at Midnight guests will be allowed to enter the park for a special After-Hours event at the Haunted Mansion and select attractions:  Pirates of the Caribbean, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Mark Twain Riverboat, Indiana Jones Adventure and Splash Mountain.

This special event will run from 1am until 4am with special food and photo opportunities, including limited time special snap chat filters!

Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite Haunted Mansion residents! (I LOVE this!) I can’t wait to see everyone’s photos! Those that attend will get a special souvenir, guide map, “creepy cool credentials”, and unlimited Photo Pass downloads of images from their event night!

The Haunted Mansion: Celebrating 50 Years of Retirement Unliving events will take place on August 7th/8th and 8th/9th, at Disneyland in Anaheim, California.

Each evening special-event is limited to 999 guests. The ticket cost is $299 per person and tickets go on sale at 10 AM PST on May 23rd.
