It appears that WDWNT has spotted some FastPass+ kiosks that were uncovered and turned on, in the Tomorrowland area of the Magic Kingdom.
Now, there were only a couple uncovered and the screens were on. They said they tried to use one, but nothing would happen.
What could this mean?
Well it could simply mean that they are doing maintenance on the terminals for one reason or another. It could also mean they are getting them ready for FastPass+ to return. Or perhaps they are tweaking the kiosks for changes that could be coming.
All of these options would seem to imply that something will be coming soon, we just don’t know yet when and if any changes will be there when FastPass+ does come back online.
I can tell you that FastPass+ and the Disney Dining Plan are two things that Disney parks guests keep asking about.
As Disney keeps increasing capacity in the parks, they are going to need to do something about either brining back the old FastPass system or implementing something new, to offset the lines and crowds.
Some have speculated that they might even start charging like Universal Does with their Express Pass. But so far that’s only been rumors.
Hopefully the uncovered kiosks are a good sign!
