When EPCOT began it’s reimagining the Electric Umbrella dining location closed and has been rebuilt into the new Connections Café that is coming very soon, this Spring 2022.
The new restaurant will be a quick-service location like the Electric Umbrella was. Since it’s part of the reimagining into the “World Celebration” the food will reflect various cultures.
Now the Disney Parks Blog has given us a sneak peek at the upcoming new location.
The chef’s will be visible and you can watch them create your food.
Here is a preview of the menu:
Burgers will still be a staple at this location including the French Bistro Burger with caramelized onions, bacon, and brie. The Southwestern Burger featuring a roasted chipotle-corn salsa and guacamole spread. A Vietnamese-inspired Banh Mi Burger and a Greek-inspired Mediterranean Burger. You’ll want to try each dish.
There will also be some salads available. These are going to be inspired by French and Chinese cuisine.
Niçoise-style Salad with potatoes, white and green beans, and olives with a Dijon vinaigrette.
General Tso Chicken Salad featuring broccoli slaw, red bell pepper, mandarin oranges, and crispy wontons.
Of course Pizza is yet another quick-service staple. Here we have two examples of that.
First up is the Meatball Pizza.
Curry Spice Pizza is a plant based pizza topped with carrots, potato, peas, and lime “yogurt”.
Of course there will be Kids Meal options:
Grilled Chicken Bao, a Chicken Nuggets Basket or a Cheeseburger
Desserts!
Of course there will be dessert options (it’s a Disney restaurant after all.)
The Liege Waffle is a brioche yeast dough stuffed with pearl sugar and finished with some toppings.
Mango-Coconut Milk Shake topped off with a pomegranate molasses drizzle.
Apple Pie Gelato Shake will give you that sweet fix you crave.
Some special beverage options include:
Watermelon-Mint Agua Fresca is and alcohol-free option for all.
There will be options for those 21 and older including multiple wines and draft beers and the Cucumber and Thai Basil Cooler.
WDWNT has a look at the front signage of the location along with the Starbucks logo as this will be where the new location for Starbucks will be.

“Like other Starbucks locations inside our theme parks, this Starbucks will be designed to fit the theme of its surroundings and add yet another exciting chapter in the EPCOT Transformation.”
This is finally going to open very soon!
