Today was the day that Disney was going to release the “left over” items for the coveted Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction on Shop Disney. This month’s theme is The Haunted Mansion, so you can imagine the demand.
After they used the highly cheated MerchPass system again, they announced the left over items would be available today at 7AM PST/ 10AM EST via the regular site.
I was on the site waiting and shopping for other items well before the 10AM EST start. Then at 9:51 AM I was booted to the “Virtual Waiting Room’ where I stayed for almost an hour! An hour when I was there as it started.
It wasn’t just me:
👏 way to make my wife sad…haunted mansion main attraction we coudnt get not one item and were on virtual line for an hr…smh! Horrible experience keep on adding up with these releases…🤷♂️

@shopDisney love how I waited in the waiting room and added the mug in my bag when I was allowed in but when it came to check out not even 15 seconds later it told me no can do it’s out of stock. Hour wasted. I now am only missing #10. Please do in store

Stupid @ShopDisney wasting my time. First they ship my stuff to the wrong address, then give me a refund code I can’t even fucking use because their website is ass. Out of stock online, but plenty in stock for ebay.

@shopDisney how was I on your website 3 hours in advance, still ended up in virtual waiting for a full hour and now everything is sold out? This after the SAME shit happened when I tried to buy it in the UK days ago. I mean come on.

@shopDisney honestly needs to fix the website, nothing lets you log in and stay logged in to your account for when items release so by the time it asks you to log in again the items have been moved from your cart and you have to do the wait again 🙃 I know there’s a lot of

@shopDisney tell me how I was put into the virtual queue at 9:50 when it went live for the Haunted Mansion Minnie and somehow don’t get onto the site until 10:36 for everything to be sold out.

But that’s okay. Ebay has a bunch of the items newly listed.
Get your shit together @shopDisney! This is ridiculous! I was in your virtual line for almost 40 mins & of course Minnie MA is already SO. I called u recently & the agent said that you can’t control the bots & and what people buy and sell on eBay isn’t your concern. What?!?!

Bots could still get through!
Extra charges to credit cards
Oh and you could go to the App and get through, which many didn’t know about, however it wouldn’t let you check out and said there was an error. Then it charged your card repeatedly for thoses orders. Which will likely all get cancelled anyways. Meanwhile you have to either sit on hold with Shop Disney for a couple of hours to talk to someone or wait for them to cancel out on their own.
But many people are getting charged multiple times for orders they will never get.
This is getting old Shop Disney. At this point you really have no excuse.
FIX IT!
