Scalpers Are Already Trying to Get Around The Two Per Household Limit on Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction

The eBay scalpers have gotten a bit more creative with the new Series 9 release for Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction. This time you can buy the Account log in for one of their many accounts and buy the item.

This circumvents the two per household limit, while they still get a ridiculous amount of lottery “wins” and the money.

When you click on one of these auctions it says:

YOU ARE BUYING THE ACCOUNT LOGIN to a shop disney account that has won the merchpass raffle for the main attraction big thunder mountain limited edition headband ears. with this you can login and buy the item directly from disney and have it shipped directly from disney to you !!! this is the quickest way to receive the item. After purchasing this listing I will message you the login and the item will be in the cart of the account until 9/18/2020 11:59 pm pst / 2:59 am est , if you do not checkout the item by then it will disappear from the cart and you will not be able to buy it anymore. you are only buying the login to the winning account.

At the time of this article the seller had more than 10 available on the ears with 6 already sold and more than 10 available on a mug with 3 already sold. The pins have more than 10 available with 3 sold.

The prices they are charging for the logins are the prices of the actual item. Meanwhile, people who only want one for their collection and play by the rules can’t get just one item and Shop Disney is again handing them over to scalpers.

Disney just go back to the way it was. You already did it with the Disney Castle Collection. At least then some people had a chance. This is just ridiculous!

I’m so sick of this! Dozens of items are going to these people and I can’t even get picked once. I know there are a lot of collectors who also haven’t been picked once. Frankly I’m tired of paying 2-3X as much on eBay.

The bit of good news is that they seem to be going back to the old way for the Haunted Mansion release next month on October 13th. But I’m sure the bots will hit is harder than ever.

Frankly I don’t think Disney cares just as long as they get their money, but all they’re doing is ticking off the fan base that would legitimately support them.

The MaxPass is a joke, but this new scam takes the cake.
