It looks like we are going to be getting a Deadpool 3 film from Marvel after-all. Ryan Reynolds was a guest on Live With Kelly and Ryan for the Christmas Eve show and he announced that there was indeed going to be a Deadpool 3 and it is being made my Marvel.
“Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.“-Ryan Reynolds
The first and second Deadpool films were the highest grossing “R-Rated” films of all time until Joker pushed in to become the highest.
Of course Disney and Marvel want to get on that action and money. It’s the perfect opportunity! Hopefully they stay true to what make the other two movies so successful. We all knew that it was just a matter of time for this to happen after Marvel re-acquired the film rights.
Personally, I’m ready for a third Deadpool and hopefully they listen to Ryan Reynolds because he really has a feel for the character and for what audiences want. He said that the “whole team” is working on it. I have high hopes.
