runDisney fans get ready! This summer marks the 5th anniversary of the popular Virtual Summer Series runs and Disney is celebrating with some of the best medals!
Taking place from June 1-August 31,2020, the summer virtual series will focus on Disney attractions for the Virtual 5K and runDisney Virtual Challenge.
For those of you that are unfamiliar, runDisney offers a Virtual series of races during the summer. There is a 5K each month during June, July and August. You can sign up for individual races, or do all three in the runDisney Virtual Challenge.
You do these races at your own pace and from your own home or neighborhood. You just submit your info when you’ve completed it that month (by the cut off date.)
Here’s a look at this year’s races!
The designs were chosen by popular vote at D23 in 2019!
June- Mad Tea party
July -Space Mountain (It’s the 45th Anniversary of the attraction this year!)
August – The Haunted Mansion (My favorite!)
The Challenge Completer will be – Disney Parks Ticket Books.
I am so in for this one. I have previously done the challenges before and it was a lot of fun. Since you can go at your own pace, and over more than one day, you don’t have to feel like you can’t do it! You can! (Get your doctor’s permission of course.)
