It sounds like we might get to see the season 2 trailer for ‘Star Wars: The Mandalorian’ soon if reports from LRM Online are true.
According to the site, their sources are saying that the highly anticipated trailer could appear during the first round on NBA playoffs on either August 21st or August 22nd. Which, as they point out, coincides with the cancelled Star Wars Celebration that was to take place in Anaheim this year.
“According to our source the trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian will drop during the first round of the NBA playoffs. The date that they are looking at is either August 21st or August 22nd.”
We knew before the season started that Disney was looking for “Brand Synergy” between the teams being at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World, The parks, and platforms like Disney+ and ESPN. It makes sense and I could see this being a likely scenario.
Since the new show is scheduled for release in October, 2020, they are due for a trailer about now. I’m honestly surprised we haven’t gotten much as far as trailers or teasers go.

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. The series depicts Din Djarin, a lone bounty hunter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
After the break out success of “The Child” aka Baby Yoda, I’m expecting him to be just as important to the second season. We are also supposed to get Ahsoka Tano and Boba Fett in season 2, so I’m looking forward to seeing more.
