Fortnite has become one of the biggest online multiplayer video games in recent years. It is currently estimated to have between 3 – 4 Million concurrent players and has one of the biggest Esports tournaments crowds out there. The game gave birth to the careers of many prominent personalities such as Richard Tyler Blevins AKA “Ninja” and Herschel Beahm IV AKA “Dr. DisRespect”.
But the game is also known for its crazy crossover skins and outfits for characters from DC Comics, Star Wars, Street Fighter etc. And now a supposed insider says it appears that a certain web-slinger will also be joining in on the fun.
According to @FNBRintel on Twitter, an insider gave them information that Spider-Man is on the way to becoming a skin for the game in time for the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home film from Marvel Studios/SONY.
CONFIRMED: Spider-Man will be coming to the game EXTREMELY soon based on some information I have recently received from a reliable source. Expect it not to release this season it will be next season!#Fortnite pic.twitter.com/NxCmo1pEgu

Now Fortnite isn’t a strange to Marvel, as in the past with characters from both The Avengers and X-Men. But Spider-Man has yet to appear in the game as a skin. But perhaps they were waiting for the right time to let him join in on the action.
Do you think Spider-Man will make a good fit for the game?Â
