Rumor: Casey’s Corner Could Return in the Next Couple of Weeks

File this one under RUMOR for sure.  We are hearing that we might be seeing Casey’s Corner reopen at the Magic Kingdom soon, possibly within the next couple of weeks. Likely because of the anticipated July 4th crowd.

Casey’s Corner was shut down when the parks closed for the pandemic last year, but has yet to reopen. Many have been asking when the popular location would be back in business.

Previously there were some signs of possible reopening for mobile order.  Back in March. they had added a Mobile Order sign to the door.

However, it still hasn’t reopened and it’s likely due to social distancing rules that were in place.  If you’ve even been in Casey’s Corner, it’s a tight space. People also use it as a through way from time to time adding to the congestion.

Now that the physical distancing mandates have been lifted on June 15, it’s more and more likely that we will see this location reopen.

Disney is also bringing back the fireworks to the Magic Kingdom on July 1, so they are likely going to need more locations for food as many people grab food there to watch the show.

Of course none of this has been officially announced, but it’s what we’ve been hearing around the internet and through some of our sources.

I do know that Casey’s Corner is one of the restaurants people have been frequently asking about so when it returns so will the crowds.
