ATTENTION: THE FOLLOWING REPROT IS A RUMOR. PLEASE TAKE THE FOLLOWING STORY WITH A GRAIN OF SALT.

After a long and lengthy legal battle that has went on for nearly two whole years actor and former Pirates of the Caribbean star, Johnny Depp, proved that the allegations made against him by his Ex-Wife, Amber Heard, did indeed defame him and caused him to loose roles in films. Most notably at Disney with Pirates of the Caribbean and at Warner Bros. with Fantastic Beasts.

Now that the tables have turned on the actress it seems that her career has also been derailed. No new projects for her seem to be in the works. And on top of that she now may be loosing her biggest role of all, as Mera in the Aquaman film series.

According to a source at Geeks WorldWide Amber Heard’s scenes are being completely removed from the upcoming sequel titled Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom. Originally the plan was to have Heard’s scenes reduced to about 10 minutes with her dying from childbirth at the beginning of the film. But after an emergency meeting at Warner Bros. when the trial was gaining massive media and online attention the decision was made to axe her completely.

Not firing her would have been a massive double standard, thus people would boycott the film in protest. Since Johnny Depp was fired from Fantastic Beats for what has now been proven to be false allegations, keeping her on would have been a huge PR disaster for the superhero sequel.

A petition to remove Heard as of writing this has over 4.5 Million signatures. With the first Aquaman film making over $1.1 Billion Warner Bros. would definitely want to keep that money train flowing.

Now that Heard is possibly being removed will you see Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom? The film releases March 17th, 2023.
