‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ Sand Sculpture Is Now Complete and On Display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Previously we reported that Disney had two sand sculpture artists working on a special display on the Discovery Island Stage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now the 40 ton sculpture has been completed and unveiled and people are posting pictures of it on Twitter.

Here we can see some of the work. I’m sure Disney will post images and / or a video soon as well!

‘Raya and the Last Dragon’ will launch on Disney+ with $29.99 premier access, on March 5th. It will also be in theaters on the same date.

The sculpture will remain up through March for guests that want to see it.
