That’s right, you’re reading an article about noodles, and I’m writing an article about noodles. Happy Weekend, everyone!

Recently, the Polynesian Resort’s premiere restaurant, ‘Ohana, announced they were reopening for the first time since the pandemic. There was just one pasta problem: the new menu was missing those delicious whole-skewered shrimp, AND the beloved, marvelous, heavenly dish known as the Pineapple-Glazed Yakisoba Noodles. Weeping and gnashing of teeth ensued as Disney World fans everywhere realized the culinary cut Disney had just taken deep to the center of their tropical cuisine lovin’ hearts.

That’s when we here at Pirates and Princesses wrote articles about the travesty. Other websites hopped on board as well. Campaigns were started, national revolutions took place, and finally… finally… Disney came to their noodley senses.

Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve won. We’ve won. Yes, there may yet be famines and strife around our little blue marble known as Earth. Sure, there are despots, torture, and all sorts of evil around the world that we’ll yet need to defeat. But you gotta take the wins where you can get them. And while this article is a bit of parody over the sheer craziness that has been the loss of noodles, the reality is… it apparently worked!

The noodles are back, baby. Now tell Mickey we’re waiting to get those shrimp too.

P.s. If you’re curious how this happened exactly (and seriously), let’s just say a mass-cancellation of reservations for a restaurant will get the Mouse’s attention. Just letting you know.

Tell us in the comments below how you plan to celebrate this most momentous occasion!
