Twitter was a mixed bag of reactions.
Many weren’t happy due to the fact that Nintendo is using one of their showcases to cover a theme park instead of games. Plus they haven’t been getting too much new content and a lot of people are still upset about the special, limited edition runs of some games that are only for short time.
distracting people from your continued disregard and care for your consumers with a 15 minute commercial for a theme park we cant even visit during a global pandemic is alpha mentality tbh

you guys really want to piss off everyone this year, don’t you.
a theme park in a pandemic is one fo the worst thing to do at this moment.
you should be focusing on releasing more digital stuff that people can get at home.

Really Nintendo your gonna talk about a damn amusement park that no one’s gonna go to because of covid-19 instead of actually show is games that we can play beside why is the us getting this direct when the amusement park is only in japan

What’s the point? How many people in America can even travel at all right now, let alone overseas?

A non-games direct on a Japanese amusement park and while we’re still in a pandemic. This is dumb. pic.twitter.com/ZpzBU1i61g

Can’t wait for them to announce a couple more games that will disappear into the aether after March 31 as a “celebration”

I feel like my comment’s going to be flooded, but:
Super Nintendo World: Is not a separate Theme Park, from what’s being built at @USJ_Official.
Universal Studios Hollywood in LA, is making a sister version of this that’s being built now
Yes, I am excited to see more of Yoshi.
