So, you get to enjoy celebrating New Year’s Eve at Universal Orlando. What are your options? Since Universal Orlando resides within an urban area, you should not expect huge fireworks displays due to noise ordinances. However, Universal Orlando offers many festive offerings at their resort hotels.

ENDLESS SUMMER RESORT (SURSIDE AND DOCKSIDE INN AND SUITES)

Both hotel food courts offer a New Year’s Eve dining special. Guests can enjoy this from 5pm to food court closing time on December 31st, 2021. Like the Thanksgiving dinners, the cost will be $15/adults, $9/ children ages 3-9 with children aged 2 and under will be free. Since Endless Summer Resorts are relatively new hotels growing up during a virus, we expect other New Year’s activities. However, none have been announced at this time.

CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT

A New Years’ Eve Party Spectacular happens in the Bayliner Diner. Attendance of Cabana Bay Beach Resort guests costs them nothing for the celebration. According to Universal Orlando information releases, this event may only be attended by Cabana Bay guests. Now, the party begins at 8pm and lasts until midnight. Entertainment features a live DJ, balloon twisters, and face painters. In addition, there will also be the obligatory countdown to 2022. On this same evening, special dining will include a carving station beginning at 5pm. Adults pay $19.99, and children (3-9) cost$10.99.

AVENTURA RESORT

With a rooftop bar, a huge party for New Year’s Eve fits the vibe of this resort hotel. The New Year’s Eve party here allows only adult 21 years or older. Guests should expect an amazing time since cost will be $125 for the party which includes tax, gratuity, and other fees. If you participate in this event, you can view fireworks exploding all over Orlando area from rooftop bar. This party runs from 9pm until midnight on December 31st.

SAPPHIRE FALLS

Two special “Eve” events will happen at Sapphire Falls. Amatista Cookhouse will offer a special New Year’s Eve buffet from 5-10pm that evening. The buffet costs $90/adults and $45/children. There will be drink specials also. In additions, the well-respected Strong Water Tavern gets involved in the eve celebrations. This bar will provide a special menu and other activities for guests.

ROYAL PACIFIC RESORT

The Islands Dining room will deliver a special holiday buffet. The characteristics of this buffet will be like the one at Amatista Cookhouse. Also, the pricing matches Amatista one. Menu will vary but will offer drink specials also.

HARD ROCK HOTEL

This life of the party hotel offers several events on December 31st. The Hard Rock lobby will convert to a party zone. The ROCK-in 2022! New Year’s Eve Lobby Party starts at 6pm. The party ends at 1am. Yet, the party costs $80/adults and $50/children. The evening entertainment involves a DJ, face painters, a balloon artist, and “Magic Men.” Tickets should be purchased in advance.

If you desire to truly live a rock star life, you can add a luxurious buffet from The Kitchen for $70 more for adults and $25 more for children. This special buffet will be served from 5-11pm on December 31st.

PORTOFINO BAY RESORT

Not to be left out, Portofino Bay offers several intriguing options for New Year’s Eve. Guests may enjoy New Year’s Eve Party on the Piazza from 8pm to Midnight. This high-class event costs $180/adults and $130 or those aged 10-20. Children cost $45 for this event. Moreover, the entertainment and food/beverages options will be plentiful.

Now, if you are looking for something less upscale, Mama Della’s Ristorante will have a special Prix Fixe menu for $85/adult and $45/children. As per usual, Mama Della’s serves their standard menu also that night.

Remember, Universal Orlando recommends reservations for most of these events. You may call at 407-503-3463 or the concierge number at 407-503-1200.
