This news hit Twitter today!
We’re developing a new Indiana Jones video game! As huge fans of the franchise, it’s a tremendous honor for us to create a brand-new Indiana Jones game with a completely original story. We’re very excited and can’t wait to share more in the future! https://t.co/2oN6TZ5GJO

“A new Indiana Jones game with an original story is in development from our studio, @MachineGames, and will be executive produced by Todd Howard, in collaboration with @LucasfilmGames. It’ll be some time before we have more to reveal, but we’re very excited to share today’s news!“
There are supposed to be “clues” about the game hidden in the teaser.
For one the “Ancient Circles” book has the name Todd Howard who’s Bethesda Game Studios director.
The ticket to Rome is dated for 1937 and the map is of the Vatican City since I see the Sistine Chapel on it. But there are also images of Ziggurat which were stepped pyramids used by various cultures throughout history, including ones associated with the ancient Roman Empire like Mesopotamia and Assyria.
The reaction on Twitter was mixed:

Since they haven’t released a new game since Fallout 76, and with how disappointing that was, I’m not getting hyped about any Bethesda games until they’ve released something that shows they can be trusted again.

So uncharted but not as good?

I’m glad you went with this teaser instead of the one where Indie clamors out of a fridge in the middle of a nuclear wasteland. People might have thought it was the next Fallout instead.

I miss the classic Indiana Jones, but I’m not sure how this will go. It’s honestly too soon to tell anyways. But announcing it the day after Disney dropped the Lucasfilm Games announcement was interesting.
