Disney has announced some exciting things to look forward to at the 24th Epcot International Food & Wine Festival coming August 29th – November 23rd.
What’s Coming?
Appleseed Orchard Marketplace
This will offer unique craft brews, ciders, wines and “lite bites.” There will also be flights offered and a kid-friendly Frozen Apple Pie drink.
You can find it next to Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada pavilion the World Showcase. And since the O Canada! film will be in the process of an update, the theater area will become a festival destination area.
The Alps Marketplace
Here you can try things like Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese with Baby Potatoes or Cornichons and Baguette. How about Venison Stew with Crushed Potatoes?
Emile’s Fromage Montage
Cheese lovers this is for you! Here you can try a variety of cheeses “served in inventive ways.”
If you purchase any five cheese dishes from the official Global Marketplaces in the Festival Passport, and collect a stamp for each, you can take it to Shimmering Sips and receive a complimentary specialty cheesecake!
Now for something new and different!
Bookings are staring today for the new Tailgate Tasting hosted by ESPN’s Monday Night Football
This special 45 program will be available on select Sundays beginning September 8 and running through November 17.
What’s really cool about it is that they will pair food and beverage tastings inspired by the cities that will have pro teams playing each Monday night.
The Disney du Jour Dance Party will be expanded this year with Radio Disney artist appearances. Sundays through Thursdays a DJ will be there to play music and on Fridays and Saturdays there will be performances by Radio Disney and Radio Disney Country artists and some Disney characters.
Plan now to catch headliners Meg Donnelly (“With U,” Disney Channel’s Zombies) Aug. 30-31, Jenna Raine (“A Letter to Me”) Sept. 13-14, Sky Katz (“Like This,” Disney Channel’s Raven’s Home) Oct. 11-12 and JAGMAC (“Like a Band”) Oct. 18-19 – you’ll want to dance the night away with family and friends!
Eat to the Beat Concert Series
…returning guest favorite, 98° (“Give Me Just One Night”) Oct. 7-9, and newcomers BBMak (“Back Here”) on Nov. 15-16 and the Spanish Harlem Orchestra (“Un Gran Dia en El Barrio”) Nov. 17-18.
