New Foot Tall LEGO R2-D2 Set (75308) Coming Out on May 1st

LEGO has announced they will be releasing a new R2-D2 set on May 1, 2021.  This new set is 12.5″ tall, has a retractable mid-leg, rotating head, opening hatches, a moveable periscope, and Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber hidden in his head.

How much will this set cost you?  $199.99

The set has 2,314 pieces and comes with a buildable display stand that has an information plaque, a small R2-D2 Lego figure and a Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary LEGO brick.
