Disney has released some new jewelry as part of their “Fairy Tale Wedding” collection.  The new pieces are for the 30th anniversary of the Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding Collection and are now available on Shop Disney.

1 Carat Engagement Ring – 14,000.00

This ring is available in sizes 5-9.

Here’s the write-up:

I think Disney may need to clarify this information a bit more. For a ring to be worth the $14,000 price tag, they really should list the clarity and color of the diamond as well. A one carat Included (I) diamond with poor coloring is worth far less than a diamond that’s slightly included or very slightly included with good color.

Perhaps they should clarify that a bit more in the write up, especially for the price and the “no return” policy.

Disney Fairy Tale Wedding Opal Wedding Band – $900

Of course there is a custom matching wedding band to go with the $14,000 engagement ring.

It comes in sizes 5-9 as well.

What’s interesting to me is that the stones in the wedding band are similar to the ones in the engagement ring. So the expense on the engagement ring is mostly the extra gold and the diamonds. Again, my suggestion for Disney is to add the diamond information to the website so people can get a better idea about the quality.
