Yesterday the Milwaukee Bucks refused to participate in their match against the Orlando Magic and today the NBA Referees held a “March Against Racism” all while being hosted in the Walt Disney World bubble at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
Since news crews were already part of “the bubble” they were on hand to film it.

The NBA Referees had posted they would be doing this on social media:
For those confused by “the bubble” it’s what they are calling the safety net around the NBA at Walt Disney World. Hotels, ESPN, Employees, players, staff and media had to clear testing and quarantines for the safety of everyone involved. Hence the “bubble” name.
It’s unclear yet how all of this is going to impact the playoff games or if this will change the time table that has been set. I’m not sure how an extended time table would impact the plans to reopen resorts to guests moving forward. Right now the players, staff, and media are being housed in certain resorts that are currently closed to guests.
We will have to follow along and see.
