More Halloween Horror Nights Information Revealed

Very recently, Universal Orlando revealed the dates for their world class fright style event, Halloween Horror Nights, for 2022. Later that same day, they started uncovering ticket pricing, basic overall information, hotel packages, and private tour information. Since Halloween Horror Nights has faced restrictions due to health concerns over the last two years, fans have been looking forward to going to the 2022 version of the event. Universal Orlando began creating hype for this event earlier than expected. Besides the dates for the event, what do we know at this point?

We know ticket pricing for single day tickets. They range from about $73 on most weekdays to $105 on Saturdays. As usually happens with the first ticket announcement, we still wait for information about multi-night tickets, or the possibility of a buy one/get one promotional ticket. Those type announcements tend to happen much later.

Universal Orlando announced how many houses/mazes, scare zones, and shows will be involved with the event this year. They also stated that Halloween Horror Nights 2022 will boast 10 new, movie-quality haunted houses inspired by everything from cinematic greats to unfathomable original abominations. Universal Orlando also said five scare zones filled with hordes of gruesome creatures lunging from the shadows will be created. Also, as a surprise to some, Universal Orlando claims two outrageous live shows will showcase compelling performances. The possible surprise comes from concern that the usually used large stage formerly housing “Fear Factor Live” might not be available this year. Though rumors of numerous other Halloween Horror Nights show locations appear throughout the internet, we will have to wait for official confirmation of what these two shows will look like. Sadly, guests must wait to see if we get a return on something like last year.

Recently, Universal Orlando released pricing and info for special tours. The RIP tour should continue to be popular. Last year, I had the honor of being a part of a private RIP tour for Halloween Horror Nights. An RIP tour is a private VIP style tour in which your group has a private tour guide for the evening. If this sounds a bit exclusive and expensive, then you would be correct. There are also non-private RIP tours which cost less but participants do not get as much freedom.  The non-private RIP tours pricing starts at about $250 per person. This tour requires guests to have purchased Halloween Horror Nights tickets also.

The Behinds the Screams: Unmasking the Horror tours function as a daytime tour allowing guests to enter Halloween Horror Nights houses with lights on. The guests are guided through either 3 or 6 of the houses for an up-close look. Often these tours permit guests to take pictures of the sets. These tours start at $79 but expect to pay more, especially for a 6-hour tour.

Universal Orlando created some hotel packages for guests. You can find those at https://www.universalorlando.com/hhn/en/us. These packages involve daytime ticket media in addition to Halloween Horror Nights ticket media.

We will strive to keep you updated as Universal Orlando announces more about Halloween Horror Nights. Thanks for reading.
