Last night I was watching Moon Knight trend on Twitter and let me tell you there were a lot of people waiting for the trailer drop during Monday Night football. Last night they did drop the trailer for the highly anticipated, six-episode, Marvel show coming to Disney+ and they also gave us a release date– March 30, 2022.

Here’s the Disney+ Tweet:

They also released it on Marvel Entertainment’s YouTube:

Since the trailer dropped it has has 10.5 million views. People are quite hyped about this one, myself included.

The write-up for the film states:

The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

IMDb has this write-up for the film:

A former U.S. marine, struggling with dissociative identity disorder, is granted the powers of an Egyptian moon god. But he soon finds out that these newfound powers can be both a blessing and a curse to his troubled life.

The character was introduced in Werewolf by Night #32 back in August of 1975. As you probably guessed from the trailer, Marc Spector suffers from disassociate identity disorder, and has other identities including: Steven Grant, Jake Lockley and Mr. Knight. We don’t know how much of the origin material and characterization will be used in the show, but those are some of the identities seen in the comics.

The Disney+ show will star Oscar Isaac as Grant/ Spector and also stars Ethan Hawke playing the villain.

I for one am quite excited about this one.
