French actor Gaspard Ulliel, 37, who is going to be in the upcoming Disney+ Marvel ‘Moon Knight’ series, has died after a skiing accident in the Alps.

According the Variety:

The Cesar-winning actor was skiing in the Savoie region when he collided with another skier at an intersection between two slopes and suffered a serious brain trauma. He was transported by helicopter at a hospital in Grenoble, where he died an hour later. Local authorities have opened an investigation into the accident, according the AFP.

Ulliel was to star in ‘Moon Knight’ as Anto Mogart / Midnight Man, along side Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke.

Fans will be able to see his performance when the new Marvel series debuts on March 30th.

It’s always tragic when someone does in an accident and at such a young age. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

He is survived by a 6 year-old son and his girfriend.
