In recent years, when a high-profile movie is released in theaters, it is now expected to have some sort of special snack and/or beverage container(s) for the movie theater chains. For example, this past summer, for the release of Deadpool & Wolverine, a special Open Mouth Wolverine Popcorn Bucket was released in select theaters. There were others offered by other theater chains, such as a “Headpool Bucket”.
Now Disney’s Moana 2 will be offering their own special items for all of your concessionary needs when the film releases next month. The first to show their offerings is Regal Cinema, with a special Wave Popcorn Container that keeps your popcorn inside a wave. In addition to this, there is also the Boat With Nachos, which is made in the shape of a sailboat that opens up into a tray for nachos and cheese dip, a traditional Popcorn Bucket and a Collector’s Dome Cup with artwork, and a special lid.

Following this, AMC revealed their exclusive items.
The first is a more traditional Popcorn Bucket with Moana 2 artwork on it, while the more interesting item is the beverage container based on the Kakamora, aka the Coconut Pirates. The container has one of the pirates in an action pose holding a rope making it look like they intend to strangle you while you sip though the straw on its head.

Cinemark has also revealed their exclusive popcorn holder.
While they may not have as many fancy containers as some other chains, this one definitely makes up for it in quality. The bucket itself is a giant geyser of water shooting up surrounded by multiple detailed figures of the characters. The bucket was revealed via the Cinemark Instagram account with a promotional video featuring Aili’i Carvalho and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

No matter which theater chain you visit, you will have plenty of options for enjoying your favorite snack and/or beverage as you enjoy Disney’s Moana’s return after an eight-year hiatus. Moana 2 releases in theaters on November 27th.
