Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction King Arthur’s Carousel MerchPass entry is now available in the U.S., as we are the only market subjected to this system. The entry period is only one day this time so you need to enter today if you are interested.
Entries run from 7 AM PST until 11:59 PM PST (10AM-3AM EST)
Here are the number of items available this time:
- Minnie Mouse Plush – 11,990
- Minnie Mouse Pins – 11,450
- Minnie Mouse Ear Headband – 5,085
- Loungefly Backpack – 1,240
- Minnie Mouse Mug – 5,810
What’s interesting is that the numbers are different than last time!
Peter Pan had 11,910 plush, 15,450 pins, 4,990 Ears, 2,440 Loungefly bags, and 8,670 mugs. Why the variation in availability? The pins, bags and mugs had significantly more availability last time. The ears do have more availability now.

There is no magic band this time around either. 
If you are chosen you will be notified via email (sometimes they just appear in your cart too) by 5PM PST on August 13th. Normally the emails start going out around 8AM PST and they send them out in waves. After you receive your confirmation you have until end of day on August 14th to purchase.
We taking bets on how much of a fiasco this is going to be? Last time the scalpers got a bunch because they were using dozens of emails to enter. Now everyone knows that trick and are likely implementing the method themselves even though the rules state “Limit 1 entry per person per purchase opportunity offered in Promotion.”
Good luck to you all. I have entered both MerchPass opportunities so far and have gotten nothing at all, even on the second round. Prior to this “fair” system, if one was patient, you could usually get something, if not most everything you wanted. Disney has already confirmed it will be using this system at least though the September ‘Big Thunder Mountain’ release. I have been hearing they might do something different with the October Haunted Mansion release because that is going to be one of the most popular ones.
