Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction King Arthur’s Carousel and Dumbo MerchPass Coming This Month

Well it looks like Disney is going to double down on the MerchPass for U.S. Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collectors. Series 7, which was July’s release for all the other locations- King Arthur’s Carousel and Series 8, which is the August release Dumbo, will be opening up this month. Get your cash ready as there will be two back-to-back, if you can actually get chosen that is. It’s going to cost a heck of a lot more for those that don’t and have to go to eBay.

Today Shop Disney sent out an email listing the upcoming MerchPass dates for  Series 7-9 in the United States.  Series 7 will open up to the raffle on 8/11. Series 8 on 8/18 and Series 9 on 9/15.

I can’t tell you how mad this makes me. The MerchPass might be easier for Disney but it’s not for the collectors.  Now, collectors are putting in for everything trying to get the things they want and stuff to sell or trade with. The scalpers are online bragging about how they are still getting a bunch of items via their methods. A lot of people get nothing.

I’m hearing that “things will change by October” because everyone knows the Haunted Mansion release is going to be one of the most wanted in the line up. But how about change things before then?  Right now the U.S. is the only market that is having to do this! Other collectors are getting what they want and many of us can’t even get one item! Do better Disney, but I’m sure they don’t care as long as they get their money and can claim it’s “fair.” It’s starting to feel that maybe I should just pay the questionable 3rd party sites to make sure I get what I want and avoid all the hassle?
